Cannabis and Pain Management
Cannabis use is becoming more and more of a topic when it comes to holistic medicine. When we talk about marijuana, it's usually associated with the main component "THC". Many forget that what also works well for the overall experience is terpenes along with THC. People who smoke for paint relief are looking for terpenes such as myrcene, B-caryophyllene, Linalool & and many more!
It can be difficult to keep up with all things cannabis, cannabinoids, terpenes, strains, etc. The first time I visited a dispensary, The budtenders didn’t know much about the products other than explaining that higher flowers with a high terpene content are more expensive. While this is true, I was sure there was more to the story than just the price difference.
New patients must also experiment and use their judgment as to the best CBD and THC levels that provide them with the best relief. Deciding on where to go and who to shop from when it comes to cannabis retailers is important. Be sure to ask as many questions as possible and look up the common health benefits of the product you're interested in purchasing. Decisions must be made as to whether you need the regular cannabis plant to control your pain or if you would do better with a higher CBD plant that has some THC in it.
